Your credentials stay yours
BotTracker is a personal AI usage tracker for iPhone and iPad. It is built so your account credentials and usage data stay under your control.
What stays on your device
- Sign-in credentials and API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. They are not sent to BotTracker servers.
- Usage numbers you see in the app are fetched from the AI providers you connect, then shown on your device.
What leaves your device (only if you turn it on)
- iCloud Sync: When Sync is on, tracker metadata (nicknames, which providers you’ve added, preferences) syncs through your own iCloud account so your devices stay in sync. That data goes to Apple as part of your iCloud, not to a BotTracker backend.
- Live Activities / push: When enabled, Apple needs a push token to update a Live Activity. That is normal Apple push infrastructure, not a BotTracker analytics pipeline.
- Share: Sharing exports a sealed file that contains a signed-in tracker. Treat that file like an API key. Only send it to people you trust. Opening it on another device stores the secret in that device’s Keychain.
BotTracker does not collect any data
TestFlight
While the app is in TestFlight, Apple may collect crash reports, session metrics, and feedback you submit. The developer sees only what Apple’s TestFlight tools show (for example installs, crashes, and feedback you type), not your Keychain contents or API keys.
